Volunteers Welcomed for C5 Committee Assignments
In 2002 Division C-5 began a system of rotation for membership on all committees. Most committees
consist of six members each serving for a period of 3 years. Each year, 2 new committee members are added, while
those finishing their third year are rotated off the committee. Individuals wishing to serve a longer period of time
may start a new 3 year rotation.
For this system to work effectively , new volunteers are required each year. This is not only an excellent way
to serve the Crop Science Society, but to become involved with its governance and activities. You can make a
difference!
Choose a committee that interests you and volunteer. Contact Dr. Stier or any of the current
committee chairs to let them know of your interest.
